Pro Grade Flexi Bitumen Sealant, 5 kg

Spaldings Pro Grade Flexi Sealant is based on modified liquid polypropylene with refined bitumen, synthetic resins and water displacing agents. The Pro Grade has excellent flexibility and adhesion enabling it to be used in extremes of climate with maximum performance, giving total adhesion even at -18 deg C.

Pro Grade can be applied in any weather condition even in the wet or underwater and can be applied to any building surface, including asphalt, pitch, felt, plastics, concrete, wood, brick, asbestos, slate, lead, aluminium, steel galvanized and stainless steel, copper, etc without the use of a primer.

The Pro Grade system is ideal for sealing leaking roofs, gutters, protecting grain silos, steel stanchions and block work around the farm. The flexible membrane (17051) can be used in conjunction with the Pro Grade to cover and seal small holes.

Coverage: Approximately 1–2 m2 per kilo depending on surface profile.
Curing Time: Approximately 24 hours depending upon temperature although a weather proof seal is affected immediately the product has been applied. Pro Grade does not harden completely.
Application: By brush, roller or squeegee. A soft broom may be used for large areas. The product should be spread over the entire area to be treated at a thickness of 0.5 - 1.0 mm.
