Etching Primer, 20 litres (pack of 4 x 5 litres)

Recommended as a surface preparation before applying FloorGuard, WallGuard and Parlaseal. This blend of biodegradable mineral acids, inhibitors and wetting agents is designed for the removal of lime scale, loose cement/paint, moss, algae and many other stains from concrete surfaces.

Can be left on for over 8 hours for maximum effect but must be washed off before overcoating.

For New Concrete:
New concrete should be left for at least 4 – 6 weeks before applying a paint or floor coating. 16200 Etch Primer removes loose cement particles and other contaminates that would otherwise prevent adhesion of paint.

For Old Concrete:
Often a good sweep and pressure wash are enough to remove dirt and dust off old concrete; however we recommend the use of 16200 Etch Primer to provide a good key on smooth surfaces.

For Previously Painted Concrete:
Loose or defective paint should be power washed or shot blasted off first. 16200 Etch primer will remove any further loose paint and provide a good key for over painting. If any paint remains, check to see if new paint is compatible before applying.

For general cleaning use at up to 80:1 dilution in water.
