Tour De Lincolnshire Tractor Run

Tour de Lincolnshire with Vintage Tractors

Spaldings were delighted to support this year’s Tour de Lincolnshire as a headline sponsor. 14 vintage tractors (from the 1950s to the 1960s), including the Spaldings sponsored Field Marshall 3A (1954) driven by Andrew Wrisdale set off on Tuesday 4th June from Sandilands on the Lincolnshire Coast for a six day 360 mile journey around the fringes of the county.

For the last 10 years, a group of local vintage tractor owners and enthusiasts have raised money for local and national charities by taking their vintage machines on long and arduous tractor road runs over several days. To date, they have raised over £30,000 for a variety of charities, and this year, they have chosen to fundraise for both the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Andy’s at St Andrew’s hospice.

All drivers are self-funding – so every penny raised is donated directly to the charities.

Spaldings was captured on Thursday 6th June, when it arrived for its final stop of the day at Thorpe on the Hill.
