How did it perform?

The test trial of the SPL Ultra Opico HE-VA Stealth Point over 115 acres.

The SPL Ultra Opico HE-VA Stealth Point achieved over ten times the coverage than the original point, across a light/medium and heavy with stone soil type. The strengthened edges formed from quality tungsten carbide plates, positioned precisely for optimum durability resulted in less down time and more efficient drilling.

Spaldings SPL® ULTRA unique wearing parts re-designed with additional material and Tungsten tiles for longer life.

DESIGN FEATURES

• 7mm to 4mm Tungsten leading tapered tile
• Shortened Nose with re-angled tile to prevent wear underneath
• Full-height Tungsten leading shin edge, paired with Hard-facing either side
• Wings fully-fitted with 3mm Tungsten tiles along front edge
• Raised profile and soil deflectors across the wing and shin help maintain shape
• 8mm side plate, covers 195mm depth, with soil catchers and thickened back edge to prevent "thinning"
• Hard-facing underneath to stop wear to bottom of leg
