Spaldings’ Charity Activities Raise Vital Funds for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

Staff supported the initiative originating from the staff Social Committee and through a series of events were able to help raise both awareness and essential funding.

Activities included multiple bake sales and a Christmas Jumper Day – plus contributions from the Directors. Chief Operating Officer, Nigel Whelan was delighted with the amount raised, saying “It was fabulous to see the standard of cakes baked and the time and effort behind them – and they tasted as good as they looked! Christmas Jumper Day was also great fun and what a fantastic and festive way to raise money for such a good cause. We are forever grateful for the care that the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance provides and any donation we can contribute to ensure the helicopter is able to remain flying and the critical care cars on the road, is vital.”

In a letter to Spaldings, Dominic Whiting, Supporter Engagement Officer & Notts Air Ambulance commented “No one wakes up thinking they will need the help of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, but with our crews on call 365 days a year, our highly skilled doctors, paramedics and pilots are there to help people involved in life-threatening incidents every single day… none of this would be possible without your generous support.”
